LEGISLATIVE BENEFITS
The Texas Association of Personnel Consultants works to influence legislation
on issues of interest to the private placement profession. A portion of member
dues is budgeted to make sure our voice is heard in Austin and to adequately
represent the views and opinions of TAPC members. Our association has been
a key leader concerning a number of legislative issues, and we will continue
to be, as our position becomes even stronger. The TAPC Governmental Affairs
Committee will focus on communicating with the membership in Your Industry's
Trade Association in order to maintain an awareness of pending or proposed
governmental activity of interest. We will also work to increase the knowledge
of TAPC among governmental decision-makers in Texas. An informed membership
participating in the legislative process is a valuable asset to our association.
